How I intend to target the desired audience for my report: Modes of address.

Modes of address:
In my report I will be relax and not have a set script just a list of points I will talk about, this will allow my report to sound more relaxed as I'm relying on improvisation.

I will use language that I usually use as I am aiming the report at people the same age as me so I will just be speaking normally.

The content of the report will target the audience because it is what I am interested in, as my target audience are people like me. I am using an animated representative due to the fact that my target audience is people who

How I intend to target the desired audience for my report: Visual Imagery.

Visual Imagery:
I will use Images in the centre of my animation, these images will relate to what I am saying about the Pokemon, for example, for the aesthetics it will be a simple picture of the Pokemon but for stats I will have another image underneath the main image with the Pokemon's base stats. The original image will have change by then.

The images will be in the centre of the page to draw attention to that image so the focus stays on that image, my character will hardly move so that the attention stays on the image.

Key words I say may be put on the right hand side of the screen to make my point seem more apparent, this will most likely be in big black bold block capitals.

How I intend to target the desired audience for my report: Technical Codes.

Technical Codes:
The general colour of the animation will be bright and current. This will make my animation more interesting and absorbing. If I choose colour it will most likely be yellow, green or blue. If, on the other hand, I choose a wallpaper, it must be focused on Pokemon and nothing else. If possible it will be focused on the newest generation of Pokemon.

I edit the animation to make it fast paced and so it will not drag on. when I am describing a Pokemon it will go in this pattern:

Name
What tier they should go in
Explain why because of:
Move pool
Abilities
Stats

Then I shall repeat this

How I intend to target the desired audience for my report: Genre.

Genre:
I intend to have either a clear background or a background to do with Pokemon. My computer representative will be to the left of the screen, in the centre will be images to do with what I'm talking about, my character will move occasionally when explaining things and the images will change to relate  what I'm talking about.

As I am targeting people my age I will try and make the images follow the pattern I would approve. These images will be pictures of the Pokemon, pictures of there stats and maybe some general pictures to fit in with what I'm saying.

How I intend to target the desired audience for my report: Narrative.

Narrative:
I intend to keep an interesting narrative, In this report i am going to tier some Pokemon and explain why I have put them in these tiers. The tiers are OU, UU, RU and NU going by Smogon's teiring system. Each Pokemon will be rated on their own move pool, abilities and stats. OU stands for Over Used, these Pokemon are the most common Pokemon seen in standard battling, this is due to a large move pool, high stats for bulking or for sweeping or a extremely useful ability. In previous Gen games these Pokemon are Garchomp and Gengar. As the tiers go down it could be because the Pokemon lacks a lot in a certain field or it starts to decrease generally. As it decreases the Pokemon go from Under Used, Rarely Used and Never Used.

OU:

Aegislash

Goodra

UU:

Malamar

RU:

Pangoro

NU:

My review

My review of the new Pokémon of Pokémon X & Y (tiering them)

This review will mainly be created for Group E on the demographics chart; this is because I’m aiming the review at my fellow peers. I am aiming at the mainstream, the struggle and the aspire. I am aiming at my age group so 16-19, male and heterosexual.

Research on zero punctuation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wgQvij3rVE:

fellow student

He likes zero punctuation
He likes the humor
He likes the way it is presented
He likes the sarcastic style

He doesn't like the intro
He doesn't like the colour scheme
He doesn't like the water mark

I have conducted from this research what to do on my report; I shall include humor and hopefully present it in a similar way and maybe keep a sarcastic style.

Zero punctuation

Zero punctuation is created mainly for group E in the demographics chart, which are students and unemployed people. This is because of the sarcastic Ben (who is the voice of zero punctuation) presents the game; he uses this to make the review funny and entertaining. This shows that it is created for these demographics as the creators are trying to relate to the audience and trying to entertain the audience by being sarcastic and they pull it off very well.

The mainstream, the aspirer and the struggler view zero punctuation. This is due to the style of the animation and the sarcastic way he projects his views. It is also related to the demographics as students and unemployed people are mainstream because they like to stay current. They are aspirers as they want to become something, students are going though education to become something and unemployed people want to achieve things by getting jobs and they are strugglers because they are struggling to get things done.

The average audience member is 17-19 years old, male, heterosexual, America and England and Australia is the regional identity
